Chippewa Aerospace, Inc. (Chippewa) is pleased to announce that it has recently received certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the design and integration of the Honeywell Mark VI Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) in the British Aerospace Jetstream 31 and 41 series aircraft. The certification follows several EGPWS certifications in various aircraft type over the past eighteen months to support those customers required to modify their equipment in accordance to the Terrain Awareness and Warning Systems (TAWS) mandate deadline of March 29, 2005. In addition, in conjunction with the recent Jetstream 31 certification, Chippewa has completed the installation and modification of the entire Jetstream 31 fleet of Trans State Airlines with the Honeywell Mark VI EGPWS. Trans States contracted in February 2005 to complete the certification and integration in its fleet of twenty-three (23) Jetstream 31 aircraft. The Company successfully supported the program and accomplished the integration of all aircraft on March 30, 2005.

Addition of North Office/Hangar Location

Due to the recent growth of sales and customer programs, Chippewa Aerospace has expanded its capabilities with the addition of a North Office, located on the Grand Strand Airport.

The new location provides ample hangar and office space to perform avionics modifications and installs. The new office is located at 3102 Terminal Street, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and can be reached by calling 843-663-2427 or 843-663-2428.
