Our People Charles "Chuck" Myers
Chuck is the Vice President of Technical Services and the engineering genius behind Chippewa. As a graduate of the USAF Academy and former US Air Force Captain with over 14,000 flying hours, he brings more than 15 years of aviation experience as a pilot, mechanic, DAR (Designated Alteration Representative) and DER (Designated Engineering Representative). He was the founding member of the engineering department for Simmons Airlines, where he first developed a reputation in the aviation industry that is second to none. Over the years, he has developed extremely successful relationships with most airlines, avionics, aircraft manufacturers, and the FAA. In addition, during the past 25 years he has been directly involved in underwriting, designing and certifying Supplemental Type Certificates for the FAA. His expertise, combined with these relationships, makes him the perfect innovative visionary for Chippewa, which, in turn, makes Chippewa the ideal choice for any company seeking excellence, efficiency and responsive turnaround in aviation services.

Julie Stanley
Julie is Vice President of Finance and acts as the primary contact for the Company. She handles the detail of the day-to-day operations as well as most of the marketing functions. Julie brings a wealth of experience to Chippewa. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. She has spent several years in the financial industry, specializing in commercial lending with a large commercial bank. Prior to her lending responsibilities, she dedicated three years to the management of a large regional bank.

Carl Counasse
Carl is our Director of Quality Assurance. He brings six years of Quality Assurance knowledge as well as eleven years experience in the aviation industry. His academic qualifications include Airframe & Powerplant (A & P) and Inspection Authorization (I.A.) Licenses. He has an extensive background in Business Class and Commercial Aircraft repair, strong Avionics experience and has spent the past five years directly involved in writing FAA Supplemental Type Certificates (STC's).
