Chippewa is divided into three divisions:

Engineering & Certification Manufacturing, and General Maintenance & Support
The Engineering division is based on providing supplemental type design resulting from frequent FAA regulation changes. This involves STC design, STC certification, kit fabrication, and kit installation. Because Chippewa has such a strong relationship with the FAA, we learn about and react to pending regulatory issues and proposed rule making. Thus, we're able to respond to the new requirements by developing state-of-the-art design specifications, obtaining timely certification, and providing extremely fast turn-around installation. In the end, our clients benefit from high quality results with a minimum amount of downtime. We understand the economics of aircraft ownership.

Manufacturing

Kit Fabrications: Our kits are fabricated in accordance with a Fabrication Inspection System, which is defined and regulated by Federal Aviation Administration FAR 21.303 (h), to ensure that all parts conform to approved design data. All kits are fabricated entirely in-house with FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval in accordance with our Quality Assurance program. Our procurement and manufacturing staff consistently search the vendor markets for the highest quality components at the best prices so that we may pass the savings on to our customers.
